Upcoming Nude Scenes

A poster at CNDB named MarsAttacks made a comment on Friday that he saw a screening of Chloe the night before and reported that Amanda Seyfried and Julianne Moore did nude scenes.

I saw Chloe last night. It was a pretty entertaining movie. Amanda Seyfried was naked A LOT. I never thought I'd see the day when Amanda Seyfried would have more nude scenes in a movie than Julianne Moore (she's nude too). They told us that the movie was a work in progress. I don't know how much of the nudity will make it into the final version but based on Atom Egoyan previous films, I think all the nudity will be kept in. I can't wait for the unrated DVD Smile Amanda Seyfried was HOT!!!

I know for a fact that he was not making it up as I knew beforehand there was a screening the night before in Toronto. When asked by myself and others for more details, he responded.

The movie opens with Amanda Seyfried sitting down topless on a chair, in front of a mirror. She is putting on black stockings. The camera is behind her, above her shoulder. We mostly see her back but we get a brief glimpse of her breasts in the reflection of the mirror. We then get shots of different parts of Amanda's body as she puts on her black stockings and bra and as she fixes her hair. I can't remember if we see any more nudity in those shots though.

Later on in the movie, Julianne Moore meets up with Amanda in a hotel room. Julianne lets herself in and looks around the room for Amanda. She then see's Amanda walk past the bathroom door. Amanda is completely naked. We see her from the side as she grabs a hotel robe. We get a nice look at her ass and the sides of her breasts (unfortunately, no bush shot). Amanda leaves the bathroom and sits on a chair. Amanda proceeds to tell Julianne Moore about a sexual encounter Amanda had with Julianne's husband. Julianne is really turned on by the story. Afterward, Amanda gets up and takes off the robe. The camera cuts back to Julianne Moore just as the robe comes off. The camera then returns to Amanda as she grabs a tight t-shirt to wear. She is standing on a slight angle with her back to the audience. We get another look at the back/sides of her breasts as she puts on the t-shirt.

Later on, Julianne Moore is taking a shower while she daydreaming about the story Amanda just told her. The camera starts at Julianne's head and slowly pans down to her breasts.

A couple days later, Julianne and Amanda are back in the hotel room. Julianne wants Amanda to show her how her husband likes to be touched. Julianne then opens the buttons on Amanda's shirt. The camera pans down and we get a good look at Amanda's left breast. Julianne then sits on the bed with Amanda right behind her. Amanda then starts kissing Julianne's neck and shoulders and starts taking off Julianne's clothes. The next scene shows both Amanda and Julianne completely naked in bed together. Julianne is laying on her back and Amanda is laying on her side. Her breasts are pushed up against Julianne's body. The camera slowly pans up and down Julianne's body as Amanda fingers her or rubs her pussy (seriously). The camera angle made it kind of difficult to tell exactly what Amanda was doing with her hand. Amanda's hand blocks any view of Julianne's bush. It's a pretty hot scene though.

Toward the end of the movie, Amanda is in Julianne Moore's bedroom with Julianne's son (Julianne isn't home). Amanda takes of her jacket to reveal a tight shirt. She slowly unbuttons her pants and starts to pull them down. We get a closeup of her underwear. A couple minutes later, Amanda is totally naked straddling the son. The camera is positioned behind her on an angle. It is above her right shoulder. As she rides him, we get a good look at her ass and the sides of her bouncing breasts.

Later on, Julianne Moore comes home and finds her son and Amanda asleep in bed. Amanda and Julianne start to argue. Amanda gets up, walks over to a rack and puts on a robe. As she turns to put on the robe we get another shot of her breasts.

I wanted to make sure there was no body double involved so I asked if her face and breasts were in the same shot. He responded.

I'm pretty sure that both Amanda's face and boobs are visible in every scene.

In the second scene, when Amanda walks past the bathroom door, she pauses and looks at the camera. Later on, when Amanda takes off her robe, the camera cuts to Julianne's reaction and then back to Amanda. Amanda puts on the t-shirt and then turns completely around in one camera shot. The camera is behind her but off to the side. Trust me, it's not as bad as it sounds.

In the fourth scene, when Julianne opens Amanda's shirt, the camera starts at Amanda's face, slowly pans down to Amanda's breast and then slowly pans back up to her face. One motion with no cuts.

In the fifth scene, when Amanda is straddling the son naked, her face and breasts are visible in the same shot.

In the sixth scene, when Amanda gets up to put on a robe, you see both her face and boobs at the same time. The camera shot is from the front (from the waist up).

In fact, the only time I don't remember seeing Amanda's face was during the second half of the opening scene where "We then get shots of different parts of Amanda's body as she puts on her black stockings and bra and as she fixes her hair". I'm positive it was her though. All the distinct body features matched.

I'm 100% positive that Amanda did not use any body doubles in the movie. I also got the feeling that Atom Egoyan wanted to show the nudity in an artistic way (hence the angles and cuts) instead of his usual "directly in your face" style. I remember reading that he didn't want this movie to get an NC-17 rating like Where the Truth Lies. I'm sure the Unrated DVD (if there is one) will show a lot more.

I think that this movie makes its premiere at the Toronto Film Festival in September. I plan on seeing it there aswell. It'll be interesting to see how much of the nudity he keeps in.

Keep in mind that the film is a work of progress, so the film can change, but this is very excellent news. There is no release date for the film yet.
